Kid Made Modern

Our good friend and mentor Todd Oldham has just come out with an amazing line of craft kits and art supplies at Target, inspired by his wonderful book, Kid Made Modern. I was fortunate enough to work for Todd for a number of years when we lived in New York, and I know first hand how dedicated he is to finding the best of the best when it comes to art and craft supplies. He once gave me a huge, rainbow colored stack of luscious wool felt for Xmas, and I've savored every last scrap of it. From the beautiful and reusable cardboard packaging to the colorful printed tapes and great quality paints, this collection (which is perfect for both kids and adults) is 100% Todd, and I couldn't wait to check out the line and start building Arrow's library of art supplies. It's never too early!

To celebrate the launch of Kid Made Modern at Target, we're offering the book for $17.95 until July 1st. So order yourself a copy, head down to your local Target store for supplies, and get craftin'!

Todd's collection includes multi-colored crayons, gigantic crayon gems, printed duct tapes, paintbrush sets, and loads of awesome craft kits, including Charley Harper Paint-by-Number Kits, and Felt Flower Kits.

Our cart at Target this past weekend, where we loaded up on goodies from Todd's Kid Made Modern collection.

Right On Target!!!

We are so excited to announce that the Curiosity Shoppe is partnering with Target as part of their amazing The Shops at Target program!!! We have been hard at work creating a line of over 60 fun, unique, and totally curious accessories for the home. Target's past designer collaborations have been a huge inspiration to us, and we're thriled and honored to be working with them. As part of the second wave of shops in the program, our line of dishwares, stationery, and gifts will launch on September 9th. In the meantime we'll be sharing more details as things progress. it's almost camping season....

It's been pretty chilly and damp in SF the past couple days, so I've been daydreaming about weekend jaunts out of town this summer for some overnight camping trips with Derek & Arrow. I can't wait to bust out our awesome tent and go on hikes with the little guy. We have a box of camping supplies up in the closet that is ready to go at all times, but it isn't nearly as minimal and photogenic as this one from Shelter Co. Isn't it just perfect?

Speaking of camping supplies, SF-based Alite Designs is now offering a service called the Ranger Station, which is a free lending library that includes bunches and bunches of their amazing products for you to borrow on your next camping trip. (Tent, backpacks, chairs, lanterns, cook sets and utensils....) You hear that? It's awesome and it's F-R-E-E!!
