Yellow Owl Workshop Workshop!!

What with the kid and all we don't get out as often as we used to. But when Chris and Evan from Yellow Owl Workshop invited us to party down with them last week we jumped at the chance. And it's not because the party was at The Giant's Ballpark (well, maybe that had something to do with it), or simply because we wanted to celebrate the Awesomeness that is Chris (Hello Hot 20! Hotness!!)...we went because regardless of the situation we try to hang out with those guys as much as possible. They're so fun and smart and creative, it's ridiculous. Well this Saturday Chris is opening up her fantastic new studio and inviting everyone in to learn and play and make stuff, and we're telling all our friends. Space is limited, but you can sign up right here. Chris will be taking a page from her own book by teaching a variety of crafty and beautiful ways to decorate stuff around your kitchen. This is a great opportunity to learn something first-hand from an amazing artist and fantastic teacher. And if you're lucky, you might make some new friends in the process.

I ordered the Yellow Owl printmaking book sight unseen (which I never do)... and was really excited when it arrived in the mail... a lovely resource with some simple/clever ideas. As a printmaker I'm always intrigued by the unique hand of each crafts person. Thanks so much for this post!
